1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, browsing, or registering for VelvetRoom (“the Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this Platform.

2. Membership & Verification

To maintain a safe, bot-free alternative lifestyle ecosystem, we enforce strict membership standards:

• You must meet the minimum age requirement based on your country of residence to create an account:
  • United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and European Union: 18 years of age.
  • South Korea: 19 years of age.
  • Thailand: 20 years of age.
  • Japan: 18 years of age (or 20 depending on prefecture-specific adult content regulation).
  • All other jurisdictions: 18 years of age, or the legal age of majority for adult digital platforms in your region (whichever is higher).
• All accounts are subject to real-time facial verification vetting prior to system activation.
• You agree to provide true, accurate, and complete information during onboarding and edit phases.
• Jurisdictional Compliance: You are strictly prohibited from registering, accessing, or using the Platform if you reside in any country or territory where alternative lifestyle social networks, adult-oriented digital spaces, or related online communications are prohibited by local law. You are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with your regional regulations.
  Prohibited regions include, but are not limited to:

  • Middle East: Saudi Arabia, Iran, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Yemen, and Syria.
  • Asia: Pakistan, Bangladesh, Indonesia (specifically regarding strict adult-content censorship compliance), Malaysia, China, and North Korea.
  • Any other jurisdiction where local telecommunications, cybersecurity, or penal codes classify online adult-oriented matchmaking or alternative lifestyle social media as illegal.

3. Walled Garden Privacy & Data Rules

As a privacy-first platform, we take user data rights very seriously. In return, we enforce absolute confidentiality:

• Strict Ban on Media Capturing: Screenshotting, recording, or duplicating private profile cards, text chat messages, raw feeds, or media content is strictly forbidden.
• Sharing other members' real identities, contact info, or locations publicly will lead to an immediate ban and potential legal liability.
• Your profile settings default to maximum stealth, and shared private gallery folders are fully managed through manual access requests.

4. Prohibited Activities & Content Policies

Members are solely responsible for all content posted and transactions made. You agree not to:

• Harass, stalk, abuse, or engage in non-consensual boundary violation towards any member.
• Post spam, advertising, commercial offers, prostitution, or illegal solicitation.
• Upload malicious scripts, files, or seek to scrape platform databases.

5. Termination of Membership

We reserve the right to terminate, suspend, or block any user account without prior notice and at our sole discretion if we believe a breach of these Terms of Service or community guidelines has occurred. Terminated accounts lose all access privileges immediately.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall VelvetRoom, its operators, creators, or database hosts be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the Platform, even if notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage.
